My Experience as a Volunteer White House Motorcade Press Pooler

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA (WUNF) — I had the honor and privilege of being a volunteer White House Motorcade Pooler in Buenos Aires, Argentina during the G20 Summit yesterday and today.

My experience went like this — early in the morning I woke up and got ready and when I arrived at the U.S. Press Filing Center I immediately checked my camera batteries and my gear, then proceeded to gather for transportation to the motorcade.

After getting screened, I went into the press van then the work began. I immediately made sure that in addition to recording, I checked the time of when we started to roll to our destinations so that in my pool reports I could tell the rest of the press corps and especially the travel pool what was transpiring and what we saw along the route.
