20-Year-Old Man Shot By Suspect Taken Into Custody By Police In Chicago Illinois; Suspect Sought

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) — A 20-year-old male shot by another person was taken into custody by police in Chicago, Illinois on April 11, 2024. Thursday afternoon at approximately 2:17 p.m., in the 1500 block of N. Leclaire Avenue, a 20-year-old male victim was discovered to have sustained one gunshot wound to his right leg after being involved in an exchange of gunfire with an unknown individual. The victim was transported to the hospital in good condition and the victim was placed in custody. Detectives are investigating and at this time, no further information is available. Several shell casings and a firearm was discovered at the scene.
