QUEENS, NEW YORK (UNF NEWS) — Dignified transfer of NYPD officer Jonathan Diller at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York on March 25, 2024. NYPD officer Jonathan Diller who was fatally shot while conducting a vehicle stop was given a dignified transfer at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York Monday evening. NYPD officer Jonathan Diller was conducting a vehicle stop at 1919 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens before 6 p.m. when a suspect fired a weapon, striking the officer in the stomach and another officer then returned fire, striking the suspect in the back. NYPD officer Jonathan Diller was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but succumbed to gunshot wound injuries.
