Man In Critical Condition After Shooting At Retail Store Parking Lot In Chicago Illinois

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) — Man in critical condition after being shot in parking lot of a retail store, Tuesday evening in Chicago, Illinois on April 9, 2024. At approximately 8:33 PM, a 39-year-old male was in the parking lot of a retail store located at the 2000 block of W. 79th St. when an unknown male suspect approached on foot and fired gunshots. The male victim was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition with gunshot wounds to the groin and right arm. There is no one in custody and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated by police.
