NJ: EDP Taken To Hospital After Barricading Himself In Hotel In Upper Saddle River

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NEW JERSEY (UNF NEWS) – A naked motel guest at Fair Motel on Route 17 was apprehended by the Bergen County Regional SWAT team on Monday after he trashed his room, authorities said. The incident took place in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, on April 17, 2023. The 46-year-old man, was taken into the hands of EMS. The man was outside the room, naked and bleeding, when responders arrived and then ran inside and barricaded the door according to Upper Saddle River Police Detective Capt. Edward Kane. The SWAT team made entry at 1:15 p.m. Eastern Time and took the man into custody without incident, Kane said. The individual was brought to Bergen New Bridge Center in Paramus for treatment.
