One Injured, One Killed In Chicago Illinois Shooting

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) – Two people shot in Chicago, Illinois on May 4, 2024. Police responded to the 1700 block of W. 18th Pl. Saturday evening at approximately 9:15 p.m. and found two victims outside which were struck by gunfire. A 27-year-old male victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead and a 24-year-old female victim sustained one gunshot wound to the leg and was transported to the hospital in fair condition. A witness told officers that they saw a white SUV flee the scene after the shooting and at this time, there are no suspects in custody.
