The two leaders commented on several topics including the U.S. banking crisis, China and Russia. President Biden spoke on Iran saying that “The United States does not seek conflict with Iran, but be prepared for us to act forcefully to protect our people.” President Joe Biden stressed support for the Ukrainian’s as they fight in a war against Russia. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau commented on TikTok in the media availability: “We made a similar decision to the American government and others when we said that we do not feel that the security profile is safe for government-issued phones. There are concerns around privacy and security, and that is why we have banned TikTok from government-issued phones.”
