Three People Shot, One Dead In Chicago Illinois Shooting

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) – Three people shot, one person dead in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois on May 5, 2024. At approximately 5:07 p.m. Sunday, on the 7900 block of S. Cottage Grove three male victims were near the sidewalk when they were approached by four unknown suspects who produced handguns and fired shots. A 25-year-old male victim was struck in the arm, leg, and foot and was transported to the hospital initially reported in good condition. A 26-year-old male victim was struck in the foot and was transported to the hospital initially reported in good condition. A 36-year-old male was struck multiple times to the body and was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. There are no suspects in custody.
