LANHAM, MD (UNF News) – President of the United States Joe Biden delivered remarks in Lanham, Maryland. U.S. President Joe Biden spoke about his vision to grow the economy, lower costs, and reward work, not wealth while reducing the deficit. President Biden said he would veto any attempt to get rid of social security and medicare. President Biden said in his remarks that his proposals are saving million of dollars in out of pocket expenses for seniors. President Biden said that he is a capitalist, however he wants wealthy Americans to pay their fair share in taxes. On March 9, 2023, President Biden will be explaining to the American people his entire economic budget which will include how much he wants to spend and what he will propose. President Biden also said he wants to sit down with Republicans and see where they can, agree, disagree and negotiate.
