US President Joe Biden Speaks At US Conference Of Mayors Winter Meeting Event

WASHINGTON, DC (UNF NEWS) – US President Joe Biden delivered remarks at a U.S. Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting at the White House in Washington, DC on January 19, 2024. US President Joe Biden delivered remarks on the border crisis, gun violence and the economy. US President Biden said that he believed that there was a need for an “assault weapons ban” to prevent gun deaths and told the crowd, “when we passed the second amendment, guess what, you weren’t allowed to have a cannon!” President Biden also took the time to comment on Israel-Hamas war at the event. President Biden then stopped to talk with the press for a few minutes after the event.
