CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) – 54-year-old male victim shot and killed in Chicago, Illinois on May 2, 2024. On the 11200 block of S. Vernon Avenue at approximately 6:12 p.m. Thursday evening, a 54-year-old male victim was on the sidewalk when he sustained a gunshot wound to the head by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
