Female Individual Shot Multiple Times Within A Private Residence In Bergenfield, New Jersey Sunday Evening

BERGENFIELD, NEW JERSEY (UNF NEWS) – Female individual shot multiple times in Bergenfield, New Jersey on May 21, 2023. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Bergenfield Police Department are investigating a shooting that occurred at 87 North Taylor Street in Bergenfield on Sunday, May 21, 2023. At approximately 6:50 p.m., the Bergenfield Police Department responded to a 9-1-1 call in which the caller reported shorts being fired within a private residence. Responding officers found a female victim with multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center where she is being treated for her injuries. An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Bergenfield Police Department under the direction of Chief Mustafa Rabboh. No other information is available at this time.
