Male Victim Dead After Being Shot 20 Times In Chicago Illinois

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) — Male adult victim dies after suffering from twenty gunshot wounds in a shooting in Chicago, Illinois on April 26, 2024. At approximately 2:34 a.m., Friday morning on the 200 block of W. 72nd Street, police officers responded to a shots fired call in the area and discovered a male adult victim on the ground unresponsive suffering from 20 gunshots to the body. The adult male victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. No suspects are in custody and police are investigating.
