Shooting Wounds One Person In Linden, New Jersey Thursday Afternoon

LINDEN, NEW JERSEY (UNF NEWS) – Shooting occurred wounding one person during the daytime in Linden, New Jersey on May 4, 2023. Thursday afternoon at about 4:00 p.m., police officers responded to the 10 block of N. Wood Ave on reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a 26-year-old Linden resident who suffered a single gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim was treated on scene and transported to Newark University Hospital by Linden Fire Department personnel. The incident remains under investigation by the Linden Police Detective Bureau and anyone with information is urged to contact Det.
