CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (UNF NEWS) – Two female victims inside residence shot in Chicago, Illinois on April 29, 2024. Monday afternoon, in the 7400 block of S. Ellis, at approximately 1:20 p.m., two female victims were inside a residence when they were struck by gunfire. One female was struck in the legs and the other female was struck in the abdomen and flank area. Both victims were transported to the hospital initially reported in good and serious condition. One person of interest was taken for questioning and a handgun was recovered on the scene. Police are investigating.
